Can’t Dream Alone
Taken for granted for every second of every minute; the times I thought of you. For every inch of every foot I’ve walked, I did for you. The colossal mountain we knew and believed we were able to move together, I move myself. Victimized, the heart has lost the feeling it once knew. Constantly struggling to find the peace it’s missing, the fuel that once burned.
In a blink of an eye, life can turn itself around, don’t stress, don’t hide. Remember you have your goals and dreams, it’s something that shouldn’t change. The only thing that changes is people, the ones that once supported them. Don’t let dreams die because they once fueled your dreams.

I can’t help but wonder… I used to know a girl who saw the world in a beautiful way. She taught me all things happen because of a reason. In this moment I caught myself wishing how I wanted things to be rather than the way it is meant to be.
Before it’s too late, seize the moment. Be grateful for every opening opportunities.

This is how you might feel when you run into the other significant you haven’t seen in a long time. A icy wind of bitter memories blowing right into your chest at the speed of light, stealing the very breath from your lungs. The blow is instantaneous and it’s overwhelming. Your eyes gazed upon this very person, your heart suddenly drops, your knees go weak and you panic. You force yourself to walk over, but before either of you could say hello, you’ve already wished… it was just a coincidence.
The person you once cared so much for and held so close to your heart is standing right before you. Memories once painted and shared is nothing more than just memories now. You find it difficult to believe how something so special as forever turn to never. Insinuating if the pair were to ever meet coincidentally, unexpectedly it comes at you like a bullet. The pain is still there as if it was the night the both of you said good-bye. Half of you aches for things to go back to the way it was, the other half just wants to forget.
“All you need is time. It heals everything.” Common sense and reality dictates that time is all mind and will power. You’ve come to realize time can’t heal what the heart can’t forget, absolutely not. A bittersweet heartbreak is something we all take to the grave. Enough time passes by, fooling you to believe you’re healed.
Ultimately you both know where your futures are headed. Things will never be the way it was. No matter how hard you both try to spark that flame that burned once so eternally, we can only hold on for so long. Once former strangers, former friends, former lovers, to friends and then to strangers again. There’s no cycle, just a time line.

You’re someone special. Not just to me, but to all the lives you touch in one way or the other. I still think and care about you. I hope you’re being well taken care of. I wish you the best that life has to offer, because you deserve so much more… you deserve the world. You’ve taught me to be a much stronger person, and I’m so thankful to have met you.
